The purpose of this guide is to provide staff a reference resource for processing Requests and Holds on NLPL materials.

In order for the system to work well, it is important that every library engage all aspects of the daily workflow to the best of their ability. By completing all of the tasks outlined in the daily workflow, we will increase access to library materials to all residents of Newfoundland & Labrador and ensure efficient sharing of library materials between branches of our provincial library system.

Mail Process

Your mail process will depend on your library's workflow, open hours, and access to the post office. Contact your Division Manager to plan a workflow that will work for your library.
