Makerspace Usage Agreement
Select locations of Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries (NLPL), including the Labrador City Library on behalf of The Shed Labrador, Inc. Makerspace, have purchased and made available certain technologies, materials, and equipment.
The guidelines outline the intended usage and associated procedures for public library patrons to experience and engage with Makerspace technologies made available through The Shed Labrador, Inc. Makerspace and NLPL.
To avail of any applicable Makerspace programs, activities, or services, library users must read and agree to certain terms and conditions. Before utilizing the technologies within The Shed Labrador Makerspace please review and sign the Usage Agreement along with the Release of Liability.
Due to the advanced technologies in place, the Makerspace is intended for use for those 13 years of age and up. Those under 13 years must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver.
