Book Clubs

Finding books your whole club can read

There are various different ways to find books your whole book club can read at the same time. (And you can combine these sources to find copies for your whole group too.)

Book club kits (print) available at the library: See the tabs in this guide for a full listing of our book club kits. These kits are free to borrow from any of our library locations, and include 10 print copies of a single title plus discussion questions and background information.

eBooks and eAudiobooks on Overdrive/Libby: We have several collections of eBooks and eAudiobooks that are available to an unlimited number patrons at the same time with no waitlist making them perfect for book clubs!

  • NL Reads: We offer unlimited no waitlist access to one local title each month from November to February (Check back each Fall for our new titles!)
  • No waitlist features: We also often feature special titles for unlimited simultaneous use. Check the top banner on Libby or Overdrive.

CELA (for accessible formats): If any members of your book club have print disabilities, they may qualify for our CELA (Centre for Equitable Library Access) services.
