Trousses d'heure du conte en français / Small Group French Storytime Kits
The materials provided in each small-group French storytime kit are designed to create an enjoyable and rich literacy experience for your shared reading with a single child or small group. These kits are available ONLY to Education Card holders.
12 French storytime kits for small groups are currently available in our catalog. You'll find details of the contents of each kit below on this page.
Themes include: friendship, animals, the five senses, counting, opposites, colors, emotions, helping each other, shapes, insects, means of transport, under the ocean.
You can request the kits from anywhere in the province, as long as you are an Educator card holder. Place hold on one kit and choose in which library you want to pick it up! You can ask the staff at your local library for help.
PLEASE NOTE:
The materials in the kits are intended for storytime group. While we would like the children to explore the props, flannels, and books provided, we would prefer they do so under adult supervision. We hope that these kits can remain in good condition to be enjoyed by many groups.
