Community Resources
This page contains a list of 2SLGBTQIA+ community groups across Newfoundland and Labrador. There are many more great community groups providing services to 2SLGBTQIA+ people, but this list includes those where that is a primary focus.

Provincial/Atlantic Organizations
- Aids Committee of Newfoundland & Labrador (ACNL)
A provincial community-based, non-profit charitable organization committed to preventing the spread of HIV, hepatitis C virus (HCV), and related sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs). Offers the SWAP program for free and confidential harm reduction materials, including HRT and safer sex supplies. - Parents of Trans, Two-Spirit & Gender Diverse Kids - NL

A community non-profit organization with the goal to create a community centre for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and organizations. - Trans Support NL (TSNL)
Supports the Two Spirit, non binary, trans, and gender diverse communities of Newfoundland & Labrador. Offers peer support groups across the province, resources, and training opportunities. - Wabanaki Two-Spirit Alliance (W2SA)
The W2SA is a group of volunteers, researchers, academics, knowledge holders, youth and Elder Wabanaki Two-Spirits and Allies.
Summer Camps
- Camp Eclipse
Camp Eclipse: OUT in the Woods is a four-day leadership retreat for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and their allies from across Newfoundland and Labrador. - Camp Ohana
The first LGBTQ+ summer camp in Western NL run by youth for youth, for members of the community, and allies. - Camp Rainbow

St. John's/Eastern
- Come Home Queer
LGBTQ2S+ community and cultural festival taking place July 14-16th 2023 in the lovely outport community of Small Point – Broad Cove – Black Head – Adam’s Cove - First Light: St. John's Native Friendship Centre
First Light is a registered non-profit organization that serves the urban Indigenous and non-Indigenous community alike by providing programs and services rooted in the revitalization, strengthening and celebration of Indigenous cultures and languages in the spirit of trust, respect, and friendship. - MUN Intersections
A collective of active, committed volunteers that are dedicated to the physical, emotional, and psychological wellness of all people with marginalized genders - Odds & Ends Curling
Odds & Ends Curling is St. John’s LGBTQ2+ curling association and league. Founded in 2016, the association organises an annual bonspiel as well as non-competitive curling events for those who identify as queer, questioning, family, and allies. - Out in Faith NL
A multi-faith group that celebrates queer spirituality. Organizes annual events including a multi-faith Pride service each July. - Peace Love 'n Pride
A grassroots, community-focused Pride Festival with family friendly events. - PFLAG St. John's Chapter
Offers monthly peer support sessions for 2SLGBTQIA+ people and their families. - Planned Parenthood - Newfoundland & Labrador Sexual Health Centre
Planned Parenthood Newfoundland and Labrador Sexual Health Centre is a non-profit charitable organization that promotes positive sexual health and 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion. - Port Rexton Pride
A volunteer-run Pride festival in Port Rexton. - Spectrum Queer Choir
Founded in 2011, Spectrum is the first 2SLGBTQIA+ community choir in Newfoundland and Labrador. They welcome everyone to join together in song, celebration, and connection. - St. John's Gay Mens Chorus
St. John's Gay Men's Chorus is a choir for queer men and allies in St. John's. - St. John's Pride
A non-profit volunteer organization that plans and coordinates Pride Week in St. John's, including the annual Pride Parade. - Two Spirit Support GroupA peer support group intended for Two Spirit folks. This group is operated by Trans Support NL in partnership with First Light and supported by Coastal Health.
Central
- Fogo Island Pride
Fogo Island Pride is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support to members of the Queer community and their allies on Fogo Island and in rural Newfoundland and Labrador. - Gander Pride
Organizes the Pride Week festivities in Gander - Pflag Grand Falls-WindsorThe Pflag chapter in Grand Falls-Windsor, offering monthly peer support meetings for parents/guardians of 2SLGBTQIA+ people.

Pride Grand Falls-Windsor is a group of 2SLGBTQ+ community members and allies who work together to promote equality and advocate for 2SLGBTQ+ folks by sharing support, educational resources and hosting Pride events.
Western

Bay St. George Pride is a non-profit organization, based out of Stephenville, Newfoundland. - Corner Brook - Bay of Islands Pride
Corner Brook - Bay of Islands Pride is a non-profit community group which helps to promote awareness and visibility of the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Labrador
- Labrador West LGBTQ2S+ Pride Group
Join, share, invite your friends, and get notified of the upcoming LGBT events in Lab West! - Safe Alliance
Provides support & resources to individuals regarding two spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, plus (2SLGBTQQ+) issues, while raising awareness throughout Labrador on issues relating to homophobia, transphobia & heterosexism.
