About the Digital Library

The Digital Library includes digital and audio books, newspapers, and magazines that can be viewed on a desktop, laptop, or mobile device. Thousands of titles are available at your fingertips! The Digital Library includes:

  • Overdrive provides a large selection of eBooks & eAudiobooks.
  • TumbleBooks is a collection of interactive eBooks for children ages 0 - 12 that can be viewed in a web browser.
  • PressReader gives you access to 6,000+ newspapers and magazines from around the world in multiple languages. Includes The Telegram, National Post, Canadian Living, and many more. 
  • Flipster is a collection of popular magazines such as Macleans and O, the Oprah Magazine.
  • Rocket Languages offers 14 language courses, including: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, American Sign Language (ASL), and English.
  • BrainFuse HelpNow offers live tutor access for homework help, skills building and test preparation. Live tutoring is available any day from 2PM - 11PM NST, and the Writing Lab and the 24/7 Center options give users the freedom to receive assistance at any time of the day.
  • BrainFuse JobNow provides users with a host of services to help in every step of the job search process including job searching, resume template, professional resume review, and live interview coaching.
  • NEW! LinkedIn Learning is an educational site with video courses to help you develop your business, creative, and technology skills. Each course is taught by an industry professional who is excited to share their knowledge with you.
