Board Games

Board Games in the Library

Board games are available to borrow across the province at some branches.  Part of the selection of games, The TimeMasters Board Game Collection, was generously donated to the A.C. Hunter Public Library by TimeMasters, Inc. (St. John's, NL). These games were distributed throughout the province to various locations, with the larger collection housed in St. John’s. All of these games are identified with special TimeMasters stickers that remain on the games.

Our collection includes games suitable for all ages and ability levels.

Where are board games located?

There is a permanent board game collection currently located at the following locations, with the possibility of expansion in the future:

  • St. John's - AC Hunter, Michael Donovan, Marjorie Mews
  • Eastern - Bay Roberts, Mount Pearl, Carbonear, Clarenville
  • Western - Corner Brook, Deer Lake, Stephenville, Ramea, Port-aux-Basques, Labrador City
  • Central -  Gander, Gambo, Grand-Falls Windsor, New Wes Valley, Robert’s Arm, Springdale

There are a limited number of board games available at other locations. Please contact your branch directly to inquire about their collection of board games. Unfortunately, board games are not available through interlibrary loans.
